Palworld: Head & body Armor items, including stats and recipes

If there’s one thing that you’re going to need to constantly upgrade in Palworld, it’s your Armor. Higher quality Armor offers boosted stats, higher health and will last longer thanks to increased durability. 

There are a lot of different Armors currently available to find or craft within the game, and each of these Armors has multiple variations that come in the form of Schematics which can be found. Some of these Schematics drop from Treasure Chests across Palpagos, while others can be obtained through defeating Alpha Pals. 

I’m going to go through the basic Armor items and their Legendary equivalents if they have one, but remember that each Armor item has three or four improved versions to be found. If you find a Schematic followed by a 1 (Uncommon), 2 (Rare), 3 (Epic) or 4 (Legendary), these items are better than their basic version, offering more stat boosts and improved durability, but they’ll also require more resources to make. 

It’s also worth remembering that the Legendary version of an item is usually not better than the basic improved version of it; for instance, the Legendary Metal Helm which can be obtained from the Alpha fight with Astegon, will not be better than the basic Pal Metal Helm which is unlocked via the Technology Ladder. 

This applies to all Armor types, so it’s personal choice whether you want to spend the resources to craft Legendary Armor or simply upgrade to the next set. 

Without further ado, here’s the full list of basic and Legendary Armor pieces within Palworld:

Base game head armor

These pieces of head armor are part of the base game, and made using resources found on the main islands in Palworld:

Sakurajima head armor

These pieces of head armor were added as part of the first major update to Palworld, known as Sakurajima, which was implemented in June 2024. They’re made using resources found exclusively on the new island of Sakurajima:

Feybreak head armor

Only one head armor piece was added as part of the Feybreak update in December 2024, and it’s made using resources exclusively found on the high-level island of Feybreak:

As soon as you start a new game of Palworld, you’ll be able to find all of the required resources to make the following pieces of base game armor:

Sakurajima body armor

When the Sakurajima update was implemented to Palworld in June 2024, a lot of new armor pieces were added. They’re made using resources that are exclusively found on the mid-level island of Sakurajima:

Feybreak body armor

The December 2024 Feybreak update only added four new types of body armor, none of which have a legendary counterpart. These are all crafted using resources exclusively found on the island of Feybreak:
