I may have to check this out (in other words add it to the backlog). I enjoyed the first remaster on Switch. It was fun and rather short. A great palate cleanser in between bigger games so if the second is a similar experience, then it could be another palate cleanser.

There was a time when I used to care about Onimusha, but sadly I think that time has passed for me. Cool for others that were always and still are interested in the series that this entry is now coming to Switch though!

I really should finally give these games a try. After seeing how excited people were when they announced Way of the Sword at the Game Awards, I’m curious to see what I’ve missed out on.

Jeez, about time. It's been like 6 years since the remaster of the first game.

Anyway this is a fun hack and slash with rpg elements and lovely pre-rendered backgrounds. It has a weird system that's not present in any of the other games involving giving gifts to your party members. I just remember giving Ekei a lot of food and booze and he was my bro for life, haha.

I still got this game on my PS2, so glad it finally been remastered for the modern age. Enjoy it folks as it is to me the best Onimusha game I ever play back then.
