Octopath Traveler series shipments and digital sales top five million

Total shipments and digital sales for the Octopath Traveler series have surpassed five million units, Square Enix announced.

To celebrate the milestone, both Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II are currently on sale on digital marketplaces at 60 percent- and 50 percent-off discount prices, respectively, until January 7, 2025.

Octopath Traveler launched for Switch on July 13, 2018, followed by PC on June 7, 2019, and Stadia on April 28, 2020, and surpassed 2.5 million shipments and digital sales in February 2021. An Xbox One version launched on March 25, 2021, followed by PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on June 5, 2024.

Octopath Traveler II launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on February 24, 2023, and surpassed one million shipments and digital sales in June 2023. Xbox Series and Xbox One versions launched on June 5, 2024.
