Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that it will be hosting a Tekken 8 Closed Network Test later this month for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
You can sign up for the test now and the first wave of the test will begin for PS5 gamers on July 21 – 24, 2023, following by a second round for all three platforms from July 28 – 31.
Tekken 8 is the next chapter in the hugely successful fighting game franchise from Bandai Namco, picking up a few years after the events of its predecessor. Whereas Tekken 7 was focussed on the duel between Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima, the action how shifts to Kazuya facing off against his son, Jin Kazama.
One of the new mechanics coming to Tekken 8 is the Heat system, which essentially allows you to gain access to a second, more powerful version of your chosen character as long as you Heat bar is activated.
Tekken 8 is currently in production for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a release date yet to be announced.
