Respawn Entertainment has unleashed the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor story trailer for your viewing pleasure to whet your appetite ahead of the game’s launch next month on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

The dark times are closing in as Cal Kestis seeks out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire. Follow Cal and his crew’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is scheduled for release on April 28, 2023. The game’s director, Stig Asmussen, has revealed he wants to make the Star Wars Jedi franchise a trilogy, so hopefully we’ll be getting a third game if Survivor proves to be a success.

Respawn has revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will feature larger maps than its predecessor, which means more enemies and plenty of NPCs to interact with throughout each location. In addition, the company said that its experience in working on the scrapped ray-tracing for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order helped better inform its work on the sequel.
