In a recent livestream, Raj “Snax” Varma stated there was a lack of clarity regarding team selection in BGMI esports and would only start focusing on his BGMI esports career and pick a team after the game returns.

He stated that, during the PUBG Mobile ban period, he was inactive and was only focusing on working hard on the game; hence, he was not productive and could not earn anything.

He added that he learned from his previous mistakes and utilized the BGMI ban period to expand his audience and be more productive.

Professional Indian Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Raj “Snax” Varma recently spoke about his future plans for BGMI esports. He said he would start focusing on his BGMI esports career and pick a team to join only after the game returns. He also revealed that he had not played the game for a long time and acknowledged the huge skill gap between him and other professional players.

Snax also spoke about the lessons he learned about BGMI esports and content creation during the BGMI ban period, and the improvements he made during the PUBG Mobile ban period.

Snax to resume BGMI esports after the game’s return

In a recent livestream, one of Snax’s viewers asked him if he would continue his esports career. In response, Snax stated there was a lack of clarity regarding team selection in BGMI esports. He mentioned that currently, most players have not yet confirmed which team they will be playing for, except for a few teams. “Anyone is playing with anyone. That’s what I have heard. So, according to the current situation, it is not right to select your team,” he added.

Snax stated that he was waiting for BGMI’s return, and as soon as the game returns, all the teams will automatically form within 30 days. He added that he would pick his team during this period.

Snax revealed that he had not played BGMI for the last six months, not even the Team DeathMatch (TDM) mode. He explained that the current skill gap between him and other professional players is very big. He added that he would take the help of other players with higher skill levels, like Team SouL’s professional BGMI player Naman “Neyoo,” for one month to bring back his gameplay. He acknowledged that he would lose a lot and might need a month to get back on track.

Snax shares the lessons he learned during the PUBG Mobile ban and improvements made during the BGMI ban

Snax shared his experience of the PUBG Mobile ban period. He stated that he was completely inactive from YouTube and other social media platforms and only focused on playing the game in the hope that the game would return. However, the game did not return for six months. He acknowledged that he neither did anything productive nor earned anything during this ban period.

When the game was suspended for the second time, Snax remembered all the mistakes he had made during the first ban. Instead of working hard and playing BGMI all day, Snax started streaming different games, including PC games, roleplay games, and story mode games. “I tried to build a new audience for myself so that I could earn something even in tough times. People have started liking me, my Valorant streams, my RP streams, and my story modes, and this is a big thing for a streamer. I have never felt so proud of myself as much as I have felt in the last six months,” he added.

Snax stated that, during the BGMI ban period, he utilized his time to improve himself in various ways. He mentioned feeling awkward shooting vlogs with others before, but he was able to overcome this and now produces great vlogs. In addition, he started posting fitness content, which helped him gain a new audience. “This thing will help me a lot in the future. I won’t be able to play esports my entire life. I need an audience that sees me in a fun way and watch my vlogs. So I have built that audience in this period. I thank all of you for supporting me so much. When the game returns, I will give time to everything,” he added.
