Rumour: Naughty Dog's Troubled The Last of Us Multiplayer PS5 Project Was Sniped by Bungie

As noted in our previous article on the supposed state of The Last of Us' multiplayer game, it's being reported that Destiny developer Bungie actually had a hand in the project's reassessment. This is according to a Bloomberg article by the reliable Jason Schreier, which claims that Bungie "raised questions" over the live service title's ability to retain player engagement.

"Bungie raised questions about the The Last of Us multiplayer project's ability to keep players engaged for a long period of time, which led to the reassessment," the report reads.
