The creators of Halo and Destiny, Bungie, are introducing a new PvP extraction shooter known as Marathon. A glimpse of the game was revealed in the showcase through its trailer. Marathon is in development with complete cross-play and cross-saving for the PS5, Xbox Series S / X, and PC.
Marathon will be set in a sci-fi world in 2850. Players must compete for survival in a world of riches and clone technology. In the trailer, players are seen fighting in an arena while wearing full body armor and using the usual arsenal of weapons. Players are known as runners in the Marathon, and any run can result in greatness.
