New footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has surfaced in the latest animated movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which is now in cinemas and is by all accounts a fantastic film.
Insomniac Games’ James Stevenson confirmed that the footage, which amounts to only a few frames, is indeed new, so you won’t have see it anywhere else. Check it out below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has seen a major info blowout recently via the PlayStation Showcase a few weeks ago, which offered a proper look at the game in action. The footage also confirmed that Peter Parker will be under the influence of the symbiote suit, which makes him more aggressive and powerful. In fact, voice actor Yuri Lowenthal said that the team have looked at the behaviours of addiction to prepare for the role.
Meanwhile, the development team confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature a New York City that is roughly twice as big as the previous games, with players able to switch between Peter and Miles Morales. However, the game remains single-player, something which was always planned from the beginning.
Insomniac Games has announced a Fall 2023 release for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PS5.
