The Challenges system in League of Legends is a fun way to track progress through unique challenges on the Summoner’s Rift. This new system was introduced to the game last year with LoL Patch 12.9 and a year later, players are showcasing their unique achievements in the game by showing off the tokens and titles they have received as a reward in the Challenges system. One such is the “Jack of All Champs” token which requires a great deal of commitment and hard work from the player to unlock.
Here’s all you need to know about the Jack of All Champions Challenge and token in League of Legends.
Jack of All Champs Challenge: How to complete?
Firstly, let us see what category the Jack of All Champs Challenge falls under. This particular Challenge is in the category of Veterancy and these challenges are focused on lifetime stats.
The mission of the Jack of All Champs Challenge is to win games with different champions. Notably, this challenge only works with matchmade games including the following modes:
Clash
Summoner’s Rift Normal Blind Pick
Summoner’s Rift Draft Pick
Summoner’s Rift Ranked Solo/Duo
Summoner’s Rift Ranked Flex
Notably, this challenge is not applicable for All Random All Mid (ARAM) and Co-op vs AI modes in League of Legends.
As you might know, players can hit different ranks ranging from Bronze to Challenger for every one of these challenges. Likewise, for the Jack of All Champs Challenge players start in the Iron tier.
In the Iron tier, you are required to win with 25 different champions and once you do, you will reach the Bronze tier. In this manner, you have to climb up the ranks all the way to the Master tier. If you have reached the Master tier, then you must have won games with more than 150 champions in the game.

Notably, you will unlock a token for every rank you hit within the Jack of All Champ challenge. For example, when you hit bronze, you will get a bronze token and the final token you can possibly unlock is the Master one in purple, the highest of rewards.
On 6th June, on Reddit, one user proudly wrote, “I have won a game with every single Champion in the game and got the "Jack of all Champs" token to Master tier. It was a passion project of mine and I'm kinda proud of it!”
Interestingly, a lot of Riot Games developers encouraged and appreciated the player for their efforts. Executive Producer of League of Legends Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee said, “That’s awesome!! Congratulations you are truly a Legend.” Likewise, Experience Designer Jordan “BarackProbama” Checkman commented, “This is so impressive. I hope you enjoyed it!”
Players should note that the Jack of All Champs Challenge falls under the ‘Guru’ group in Veterancy. You need to earn points from challenges in the Guru group to rank up the Guru capstone to reach the Diamond tier.
