Back in January of this year, Flexion, the games marketing company entered into a partnership with the popular developer Fingersoft to expand the reach of its games by publishing them on alternate app stores. They announced that the superhit casual mobile games – Hill Climb Racing and Hill Climb Racing 2 will be available on the Amazon Appstore, ONE store, Samsung Galaxy Store and Huawei’s AppGallery.
Well, the wait is finally over as players can begin downloading these beloved titles on alternate stores. Both Hill Climb Racing and its sequel have a humongous fanbase with over two whopping billion-lifetime downloads. Over the years, both games have also generated more than €180M in net revenue and this partnership aims to take things even further.
Flexion has already established a massive distribution network in the mobile gaming industry. With their support, the titles are available on other platforms, paving the way for new players, even more monetization, platform relations, and user acquisition.
The games of course, remain the same. Players can expect the same physics-based driving through unique environments. It may sound like just climbing hills, but it can be quite a challenging experience thanks to how distinctive each region is and how every vehicle performs.
Speaking about their tie-up, Jens Lauritzson, CEO of Flexion, said: “We announced our partnership with Fingersoft a few months ago, so we’re delighted to have launched the first game. Flexion is currently averaging around 10% extra revenue for Android games it distributes.”
Android and iOS users can continue to download Hill Climb Racing 2 from their respective stores. Players will finally also find the game on the Amazon Appstore, ONE store, Samsung Galaxy Store and Huawei AppGallery. It is free-to-play on all platforms and offers in-app purchases.
