Activision Blizzard and developer Toys for Bob have announced a release date for Crash Team Rumble. Alongside the release date announcement, the developers have revealed how to get your hands on the game before the launch.

Crash Team Rumble, a 4v4 multiplayer game, will launch on June 20 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. However, you can pre-order the game starting today, March 21. Players who pre-order the game can participate in the closed beta, scheduled for April 20-24. This limited-time event will feature five characters from the Crash Bandicoot series. These characters include Crash, Coco, Tawna, Neo Cortex, and Dingodile, – well as three maps.

Crash Team Rumble will come in two versions; the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition will cost $29.99 and include the game, closed beta access (for those who pre-order), and a Premium Battle Pass for Season 1. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $39.99, will include everything in the Standard Edition and a Premium Battle Pass for Season 2, and 25-tier instant unlocks for Season 1. Additionally, the Deluxe Edition will include a Digital Proto Pack featuring ‘Blocky’ skins and equipable items.

The game’s final version will have an impressive roster of heroes and villains. Each will be classified into one of three roles – Blocker, Booster, or Scorer. Players will have to work collaboratively to bank the most Wumpa fruit in their drop-off zone while stopping their opponents from doing the same. Each character will have unique Relic Powers, necessitating careful selection and coordination among teammates. Activision has also confirmed that the game will include cross-platform play, allowing players to compete with their friends on other consoles.

Crash Team Rumble will launch on June 20, 2023, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
