Following a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Japan and a tsunami warning, Capcom has postponed today’s Monster Hunter Showcase. It was scheduled for 2 PM PST, but the company will provide a new date “as soon as it’s decided.”

The showcase would have revealed new details about Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and Monster Hunter Wilds, especially Title Update 4 for the latter. Out this month, it adds Gogmazios, an Elder Dragon, to the game. Other content is also undoubtedly included, and there would have been a roadmap for upcoming seasonal events.

However, Capcom clarified beforehand that there wouldn’t be any other details, perhaps to manage any expectations for those seeking an expansion announcement. Given how the action RPG has been out for almost a year and doesn’t have a roadmap for future updates, it makes sense.

Title Update 4 is out on December 16th, so stay tuned for details on its content in the coming days. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, meanwhile, releases on March 13th, 2026.

In light of the recent tsunami warning issued due to an earthquake off the coast of Japan, we have decided to postpone the Monster Hunter Showcase broadcast which was scheduled for 2pm PST / 10pm GMT today. We'll share the new broadcast date with you all as soon as it's decided.… https://t.co/crSBv5o6su
