Mafia: The Old Country was first announced during Gamescom ONL 2024 with a short teaser trailer that intrigued fans with the reveal that it’ll take players outside of the U.S. for the first time, and be a prequel set in Italy.
Now, 2K has revealed that later this week during The Game Awards 2024, we’ll get the full reveal of Mafia: The Old Country with a new trailer.
This is the second 2K game to have a new trailer confirmed for The Game Awards after it was revealed that Borderlands 4 will get a new trailer on Thursday, but the expectations for what each trailer will bring is very different.
For example, we know that Borderlands 4 is set to release sometime next year, while we currently have no real idea as to the release window for Mafia: The Old Country.
Which also means it’s less likely we’ll get a proper look at any gameplay, but we can always hope. Best to set expectations low with these kinds of showcases.
