The long-awaited sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 4. If you haven't preordered a copy of the action-RPG yet, you have four different editions to choose from, including a Steelbook Edition that appeared on Walmart's site on January 14. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Steelbook Edition is up for preorder for $69 for PS5, so you're essentially getting a steelbook case as well as in-game bonuses for free. There's also a $90 Gold Edition with the season pass available in physical format and the GameStop-exclusive Collector's Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
We spent four hours with the sequel at Gamescom and our initial impressions were that the sequel has the chance to please both fans of the original and newcomers to the series.
If you plan on playing the RPG on PC, you can save 10% on your preorder of the standard or Gold editions at Fanatical (a GameSpot sister site). The PC version is already $10 cheaper by default, so the price difference between between the PC and console editions is even wider with these deals on Steam keys.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 PC Preorder Deal

- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gold Edition (Steam key) -- $72 ($80)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Preorder Bonuses
Preorders for all editions of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 come with an exclusive bonus quest called The Lion's Crest. Completing the quest will unlock Knight Brunswick's armor and weapon set.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Steelbook Edition
$69
Just weeks before launch, Walmart quietly opened preorders for a Steelbook Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. At this time, the Steelbook Edition, which comes with the eye-catching case shown above, is only available at Walmart for the PS5 version of the game. It costs the same price as the standard edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, so if you like steelbooks, we'd recommend snagging this while you can.
The listing doesn't specify it, but it's certainly possible the Steelbook Edition is exclusive to Walmart.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gold Edition
$90
If you want additional digital content, consider preordering the gold edition. Along with any eligible preorder bonuses, you'll get the Gallant Huntman's Kit and the Expansion Pass. The former includes cosmetics like the St. Hubert's hunting cap, Artemis' crossbow, and Nimrod's hunting coat, while the Expansion Pass includes three upcoming expansions and the Shields of Seasons Passing (offering unique shield customization options).
Physical editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X are available to preorder at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop. PC players can preorder the Gold Edition for $72 at Fanatical.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Collector's Edition
$200
Exclusive to GameStop, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II's Collector's Edition is loaded with physical collectibles. Along with your preorder bonuses and the gold edition of the game, here's what you'll find inside this massive bundle:
- Henry and Pebbles Statue: A 12-inch statue of Henry and his horse
- Letter of Hope: A replica of the letter carried by Sir Hans Capon
- Alleys of Kuttenberg Cloth Map: Full-color, hand-cut cloth map of Kuttenberg
- Coats of Valor Enamel Pin Set: Depicts key faction shields from the game and include a display base
- The King's Rebels Collectible Cards: A six-card set featuring heroes from the game
GameStop has both the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the Collector's Edition in stock as of January 14.
The Kingdom Come: Deliverance series puts you in the boots of a young man named Henry, who lives in Bohemia in the 1400s and has to deal with the fallout of a war with the neighboring Hungarians. Henry starts out as the son of a local blacksmith, but he's forced into a quest for revenge when the Hungarians assault his village, killing his family and friends. One of the big selling points of the first game was its historical accuracy. Warhorse Studios emphasized that the weapons, armor, clothing, and architecture reflect the realities of medieval Europe, and the sequel looks to maintain that same style of authentic world-building.
