IWALK StandMe 3-In-1 Charging Station review - "Turn your phone into a clock"

I am a big fan of wirelessly charging things. I don't like messing around with cables late at night - it's just not something I spend time doing. The IWALK StandMe 3-In-1 Charging Station is a wireless charging station that can charge your Apple Watch, AirPods and iPhone, all at once. 

If you are someone that has an iPhone, you likely also have AirPods and an Apple Watch to complete the family. The IWALK StandMe is quite compact, a thin cylinder that doesn't take up much room on your desk or side table. It comes with a USB-C cable and an American outlet adaptor. Once you have the device plugged in, you can pull out parts that charge different devices.

The top of the IWALK StandMe can be bent outwards, so that your phone can face you, opening up a section to place your AirPods on to charge. Your phone will connect through the magnetic circle within your iPhone.

If you have a case on, you'll likely need to ensure it's one of Apple's own magnetic cases or it's one that has an added magnetic circle on it. My Casetify is too dense, so the magnet didn't stick with it on, though my normal wireless charging stand can charge through my case. This felt a little strange. If you tap a small rectangle on the side of the charger, a little tray pops out so that you can place your Apple Watch on top and charge it.

I quite like that you can customise the charger - the Apple Watch section doesn't have to be out unless you have one to charge. It makes this 3-in-1 stand sleek even if you don't have all three devices that it can charge. 

Another cool feature of the stand is that it auto-rotates. You can wave your hand above the stand and watch your iPhone suddenly go from portrait to landscape, which could turn your phone into an alarm clock, showing the time, on your charging stand.

If you need to charge your phone but want to watch something, you could easily have this charger on your desk, rotate it, and use your phone to watch. It's just well thought through. 

I do feel like I shouldn't need a specific case in order to charge my phone, but otherwise, it's a pretty well-designed and decent charging stand. I like the auto-rotate and found that it worked well and fast enough to recharge my devices.
