The wildfires in Los Angeles have been devastating for those impacted, and all around the world people have been banning together to provide what support they can to help those who’ve lost everything in the fires.

Yesterday, Sony pledged to donate $5 million to the relief efforts for those impacted by the wildfires. Today, PlayStation Studios three major teams based in Southern California have all stepped up to join that effort.

Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica and Insomniac each published statements to the studios official X accounts, each of them saying that they are joining Sony in providing support to those impacted, and added that a number of their own team members have been impacted by this natural disaster.

“We are deeply saddened to see so much of our local community affected, including many of our team members, partners, and friends,” wrote Sony Santa Monica in its statement.

“To aid in the relief effort, Santa Monica Studio will be joining Sony and our Los Angeles PlayStation sister studios in making donations to organizations providing critical support to those who have found themselves without shelter and other basic necessities.”

Naughty Dog and Insomniac each specify in their statements that donations will be made to the LA Fire Department Foundation, World Central Kitchen, CCF Wildfire Fund, and the Pasadena Humane Society.

Naughty Dog adds in its statement, “Naughty Dog is Los Angeles grown, and we are proud to have been part of such a strong and resilient community here for decades and will continue to stand by our own team members and our neighborhood as we work to rebuild.”

For its part, Insomniac said “Insomniac has called the Los Angeles area home for decades. We feel a responsibility to support the communities that have molded us into who and what we are today.”

Each studio also took a moment to thank the courageous first-responders for their part in battling the wildfires and protecting the people of Southern California.

At time of writing, 24 people have been killed as a result of the fires, and more than 12,000 buildings have been destroyed. The worst of the fires continue to burn, as firefighters work to quell this disaster and stop the destruction.
