Idol Manager: Virtual Venture announced for PC

Publisher PLAYISM and developer Glitch Pitch have announced Idol Manager: Virtual Venture, a sequel to the pop star management simulation game Idol Manager. It will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam in 2027 with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options, with additional languages to be determined.

The idol agency management simulation Idol Manager, critically acclaimed for its exploration of the harsh realities of the pop idol industry, will finally become a series with this new entry, Idol Manager: Virtual Venture.

This time, your stars are virtual streamers! As a manager at a newly established streaming corporation, players will strive to take their streamers to the top of the virtual streaming industry.

With the same difficult management simulation as the last game, Virtual Venture introduces many new features specific to virtual streaming.

In the previous game, your agency only accepted female idols, but in Virtual Venture, male streamers are more than welcome! Help them customize their avatars, streaming assets, background music, and more to produce new and original virtual streamers for your agency.

Just like in Idol Manager, you can chat with your streamers to build up trust, but friendships aren’t the only type of relationship in your agency. Look out for internal conflicts within your streamer groups and watch as both the pretty and ugly sides of them emerge.

Will you lead your streamers to a bright, promising future, or a dark, grueling one? It’s up to you to bridge the gap between the virtual and the real and survive in this demanding industry. Will you be the producer of the world’s best virtual streamer?
