Veni, veni, venias (gloriosa)

Few series feature so many iconic villains as Final Fantasy; fewer still can boast of a villain that has endured for decades, with a fashion sense that continues to turn heads. Surprising in the sense that it took us off guard, IP holder Square Enix has partnered with musician and fashionista Pharrell Williams on the runway; Sephiroth's immortal theme, One-Winged Angel, was performed by a booming live orchestra at the Louis Vuitton Men Fall-Winter 2025 Fashion Show, startling dozens of onlookers, and confusing more (probably).
Eurogamer caught this one, further evidence of our long-held theory that including Final Fantasy VII music will enhance any situation. Williams personally pushed for the track's inclusion, and we respect that. Gamer and musician Alex Moukala points out that Pharrell has actually been an N.E.R.D. forever and that we shouldn't be surprised, considering his band's debut album cover.
We'll leave the critique of the clothes themselves to those more suited, but this is not the first time Square Enix has attempted to class things up with a high-fashion partnership; Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning was made the face of a significant campaign almost a decade ago now, back when such things weren't nearly so commonplace.
