While winning a friendly against your buddy might not directly reflect into any in-game rewards, the winner certainly gets the bragging rights. Moreover, what’s a better way then to prove who is the best player in your friend circle. Thankfully, you won’t need to be under the same roof as your friend to play the game together. Playing together or against each other in EA FC 25 can be done remotely, and it’s pretty easy.

How to add your friend in EA FC 25?

In order to play with your friend, you’ll need to add them to your friend list on EA Play. This is possible even if the two of you’re on different platforms (to play in the same session, the two of you will need to be on the same generation of the game).

• The easiest way to add your friend is by using the EA app on a PC. You can do this even if you play on a console, as the EA ID is universal across all platforms (only the profiles differ based on your platform).
• On the home screen of the app, press the small icon on top of your Friends tab.
• This will open up a screen where you can search your friend using their EA ID.
• In case the two of you’re friends on PlayStation or Xbox, you can directly import your friend list. This will save you time to manually add them again.
• Once you’ve sent a request, your friend will need to accept it. Of course, they might do the same and send you the request.

How to matchmake with your friend in EA FC 25?

The process of playing with your friend in EA FC 25 will vary slightly with the mode in question. Ultimate Team makes it pretty easy to play against each other. Irrespective of the mode, the first thing you’ll want to do is to add your friend your in-game party.

This can be done using the social tab. Once the two of you’re added as friends, you can invite them to your party. Once accepted, the two of you’ll be able to play against each other in Ultimate Team friendlies.

• You can play Rush as part of the same team in Ultimate Team mode.
• You can also play together in co-op seasons and get promoted together. Unlike Ultimate Team, you can play as part of the authentic squads that use real-life teams.
