If you’re looking for some new outfits in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, then you can do no better than her beloved pink dress. However, getting your hands on this get-up is not straightforward, and you need to complete a checklist first.
There are three things you’ll need to do in order to get Zelda’s Customary Attire in EoW:
- Complete the main story up to and including “Still Missing,” when you remove the Rift on Hyrule Castle
- Complete the “Impa’s Gift” sidequest
- Complete the “One Too Many Guards” sidequest
Completing these three things will allow you to pick up the quest needed to get the Customary Attire called “From the Heart.”
It’s worth noting that both side quests require you to complete “Still Missing” first.
How to complete the “From the Heart” sidequest in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
To pick up the “From the Heart” side quest, head to Hyrule Castle Town and seek out Romi. You can find her on the path towards the Castle entrance, and she’s accompanied by a little black dog (shown above).
Upon talking to Romi, she will give you a Happy Clover and request that you deliver it to the King. This is simple enough: just enter the Castle and keep walking straight until you come to the Throne Room, then talk to the King to continue the quest.
After talking to the King, a cutscene will play, and you’ll find out that Romi has run off through the south gates of Hyrule Castle Town. Go there and talk to the guards on duty, learning that she ran after the dog, and then follow the path to the south. Remember to stop to talk to the guards whenever you see any.
The second set of guards will tell you to head west, bringing you to the final set of guards. They tell you that a Rift has opened up nearby, and you’ll be able to find it by following the path west some more. Open up an entrance to the Rift, and then dive in.
How to complete the Stilled Southern Hyrule Field Rift
There are three sets of Tri’s friends to search for in this rift, and they’re all easy enough to find:
North
Directly to the north of where you entered, you’ll find the first set of friends trapped inside a Zol and surrounded by Peahats. Take all of them out using either your Echo of choice or by entering Swordfighter Form, then interact with the orb to rescue the friends.
West
Heading west from the first set of friends, you’ll find the second set inside another enemy, this time a Mini-Moldorm. These are very fast and can be pretty irritating, but you can deal with them easily enough with an electricity-producing Echo, such as Electric Keese, Buzz Blob, or Spark.
East
All the way over the other side, you’ll find the third and final set of friends inside a Tangler in the pool of water. Use some Bombfish or enter Swordfighter Mode to deal with the monsters, then interact with the orb to rescue the final set of friends.
Once you’ve finished this Rift, Tri will automatically pull you out of it. Then, two cutscenes will play in sequence, with the Customary Attire being given to you by the King in the second one.
