How to Catch Megalodon in Fisch – Complete Guide

20 hours ago 30

Dynamite, spikes, and whirlpools surround Ancient Isles, and those are all capable of sending you down to the Davy Jones’ locker! They’ll also be your first obstacle to getting Fisch’s deadliest catch, the Megalodon. To help you get it in the shortest amount of time, here is our complete guide on how to catch Megalodon in Fisch.

The Megalodon Event in Fisch starts in the open ocean behind the Ancient Isle (~7200, 130, 200), right when the day/night switch happens. The chances of it occurring are relatively high compared to those of other events, and it’s currently much more common than regular Shark Hunts.

Also, the dynamite, spikes, and whirlpools that usually spawn around the Ancient Isle can’t spawn this far out in the ocean. However, they can still get you while you make your way from the Ancient Isles. So, use the fastest boats you have to dodge them.

How to Start the Megalodon Event in Fisch by Yourself

The most reliable and foolproof way of starting the Megalodon Event yourself in Fisch is to spam Sundial Totems. That way, you can force a day/night switch every ~20 seconds, which should allow you to get a Megalodon Event in about 10 minutes on average.

If you don’t want to spend money on totems, then you can try server hopping until you find a server where whales are spamming Sundial Totems themselves. You can also invite your friends and share the expense of totem-spamming with them.

The easiest to get and use from the above-mentioned rods are the Steady Rod and the King’s Rod. They are very widely used, and getting them should be a priority. Enchanting the King’s Rod with Hasty should also be your priority.

How to Catch the Ancient Megalodon and Phantom Megalodon

The Ancient Megalodon and the Phantom Megalodon are just variations of the regular Megalodon, and the chances for the Meg you catch to have them are ~1/2 and ~1/10, respectfully.

Also, the Phantom Megalodon can only be caught during real life weekends, and you can increase the chance of getting him by using an Eclipse Totem.
