Honor of Kings is all set to host the 2024 Championship in Indonesia soon

• 16 teams to take place in a competition culminating on October 27th

The highly anticipated 2024 Honor of Kings Championship is just around the corner, kicking off on October 12th at the MGP Space in Jakarta, Indonesia. This international esports event brings together the top 16 teams from all over the planet, each battling for a share of the whopping $1M prize pool, with $300,000 going to the eventual champions. 

The Honor of Kings Championship will begin with a group stage, featuring best-of-three matches, where the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage starting on October 18th. From there, the action intensifies, with a best-of-five double-elimination bracket leading up to the grand finals on October 27. In the final stage, the top teams will face off in a best-of-seven showdown to determine the 2024 champion.

The 16 teams have been divided into four groups, each featuring fierce competition. Group A includes teams from Indonesia, Türkiye, and the Philippines, while Group B features squads from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and France. Group C and D further expand the global representation with teams from Brazil, Myanmar, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Aside from the tournament, you, as a fan, can also enjoy a number of in-game events. You’ll be able to tune into the tournament live via the in-game TV and even participate in tasks for a chance to win all the heroes and skins available as of October 1st. In addition, quiz events will be available from the group stages to the finals, giving you a fun way to engage with the tournament and win rewards.

In addition to these events, a new skin, Zhou Yu - Eclipse Blaze, will debut during the tournament. This phoenix-inspired design brings an exciting visual overhaul to the character, featuring new armour and flame effects, offering you a chance to unlock this skin simply by following the in-game events tied to the Championship.
