Sounds like Hollywood
EA and BioWare have announced the talent behind Dragon Age: The Veilguard's soundtrack, and they've roped in a couple of Hollywood composers for the job.
Announced on social media, it's none other than Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe behind the OST for the upcoming RPG. The main theme is now available to stream on services like Spotify:
Zimmer is a prolific composer for movies, with notable works including Inception, Christoper Nolan's Batman trilogy, the Dune series, and countless more. Balfe has also contributed significantly to film and TV, known for Black Widow, The Wheel of Time, and The LEGO Batman Movie.
"Epic stories lend themselves to epic scores, and the narrative tapestry BioWare has woven in The Veilguard never left me wanting for inspiration, be it during the game’s moments of shining heroism or darkest emotional pitfalls," says Zimmer. "I’m proud to have shared the journey of creating the musical backdrop for the latest Dragon Age adventure with Lorne and the entire design team."
Balfe has lots of praise for The Veilguard, calling it an "unprecedented immersive experience" that he "cannot wait for people to play".
