The removal of Grove Street Games from the credits of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy — Definitive Edition after a recent update has prompted the company’s CEO, Thomas Williamson, to hit back at Rockstar Games for its “dick move.”
Grove Street Games is the original creator of GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, but after a recent update for PC and consoles added the mobile version’s improved visuals, the company was mysterious absent from the opening credits. While their staff remains in the credits for each title, Grove Street Games’ logo is no longer included, nor is any mention of them in the copyright text.
Speaking entire hypothetically: It’s a dick move to remove primary developers from credits in an update, especially when an update includes hundreds of fixes that were provided by those developers that stayed out of players’ hands for years.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – Definitive Edition was heavily criticised on launch for its array of bugs, control issues, and messy visuals, although the mobile version was notably a huge improvement over the PC and console versions of the game.
