If the rumors are to be believed, Winter Wildcards is coming soon to EA FC 25, and Ultimate Team players can expect plenty of festivities over the next couple of weeks.
As of writing, the Globetrotters promo is life in Ultimate Team, but it’s going to be a one-week affair from the looks of it. Based on the social media rumors, the Winter Wildcards promo is going to be released this Friday. So far, EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about which players will feature in it.
As of writing, a few players have been leaked, but it’s safe to expect new names to appear as we get closer to the release. It will be interesting to see which footballers will be included in this promo and if it will be a two-team affair. If we get two teams, it means that the Winter Wildcards promo will last for two weeks.
- Erling Haaland (expected to get two cards with two positions).
- Ronaldo (expected to get a mini and a prime version).
- Vinicius (expected to get two card with two positions).
- Frenkie De Jong (expected to get two cards with two positions).
- Eden Hazard.
- Antonio Di Natale (expected to get two cards with two positions).
- Declan Rice.
- Alexandre Lacazette.
- Yaya Toure
- Carlos Alberto Torres (expected to get two cards with two positions).
- Caroline Hansen
- Ademola Lookman
Interestingly, there have been a couple of rumors doing the rounds as we wait for the names of the footballers to appear. A new card design called “NumeroFUT” has reportedly been added to the card database. The design seems completely different from anything we have received in Ultimate Team in the recent past.
Winter Wildcards is also expected to have its version of Heroes and Icons. Last year, Winter Wildcard Icons had different positions on them, which really made the promo interesting. Whether EA Sports does something similar this year remains to be seen.
EA FC 25 Winter Wildcards promo release date
The upcoming promo is expected to go live on Friday, December 20, right ahead of the Christmas season. The cards will be available at 6 p.m. UTC, which is the usual time for all promo releases. Apart from new cards in packs, promo items will be available in Objectives and SBCs, so make sure to be on the lookout for them.
