EA FC 25 Trading guide: Best ways to make coins for free

2 months ago 89

Trading is the quintessential way to make coins in EA FC 25‘s Ultimate Team, and it’s a lot easier than you may think.

For laymen, trading is buying cheap and selling at a premium. This allows you to consistently earn coins as you continue to upgrade and improve your team. Trading is particularly exciting when players are looking to buy new cards at the start of the year. Let’s look at some of the most popular methods you can employ to multiply your coin reserves quickly.

Best trading methods in EA FC 25

Before we begin, note that you’ll need around 10,000-20,000 coins to start your journey. The methods I have mentioned here cover almost every type of budget.

Bronze Pack Method (BPM)

The Bronze Pack Method is a tedious way to make coins but involves the least risks. They’re specifically more effective at the start of a new game. The idea is to spend coins to open the Bronze packs from the store. You’ll get at least three player items and a host of other cards. You should discard stuff like logos, kits, etc.

Ideally, the three player cards should sell for 200 coins each on the market. But your real moneymaker is the Bronze cards that are part of the Foundations SBCs. You can also find managers from Brazil and France in this pack, which sells for their maximum prices on the market.

Solutions Trading

As EA FC 25 is still in its early days, plenty of tutorial SBCs are to be solved. EA Sports has also released regular fodder challenges like RTTK Challenge 1. People often flock to third-party websites to learn about complex solutions for SBCs. You can try to buy the cards mentioned in those solutions cheaply and sell them at a higher price (by keeping the buy now amount to a reasonable number). This is a low-risk way to trade and make profits, but you’ll depend on what kind of SBCs are being released.

High-rated Fodder trading

Picking fodder rated 84 or above in the current scenario could benefit immensely. Fodder trading involves anticipating when the demand for higher-rated cards will go up. This usually happens if there’s a popular SBC that everyone will complete. For example, the Diogo Jota RTTK SBC hiked the prices of 86 and 87-rated fodder. This is one of my favourite trading methods, and last year, I made millions with them.

Supply trading

Supply trading works on the basic principles of economics. In EA FC 25, the supply of cards usually goes up on Sundays (Squad Battle rewards) and Thursdays (Division Rivals rewards). People open their tradeable packs and typically attempt to sell their cards below the market valuations. This is when you’ll want to buy the cards. Sometimes, you can flip these cards immediately, but holding on to them for a few days can be beneficial.

Meta trading

Before the start of the Champions Finals, the price of meta cards will go up. Usually, this works better for higher-rated meta items (Theo Hernandez, for example). This method is expensive, and you’ll need much gold to start. The technique is simple – you buy the meta cards when they have a higher supply in the market, and you sell them before the Champions Finals begin.

Consumables

Sundays are the best time to pick cheap consumables. For example, the Shadow and Hunter chemistry modifiers sell large numbers after Squad Battle rewards. You can pick them up below their market price and immediately flip them for instant profits. While this method has almost zero risk, you’ll have to wait till Sunday for it to work.

That’s pretty much all regarding trading in EA FC 25. There’s the additional method of sniping – the act of finding bargains on the market. Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to compete in snipes, and you’ll not only need a good internet connection, but you’ll also have to be immensely lucky.
