The long-awaited return of BioWare's Dragon Age franchise is almost here. Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases this Thursday, October 31, for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. If you haven't secured your preorder yet, you're running out of time to take advantage of some nice preorder bonuses, including what is essentially free money from Best Buy. But big fans of the franchise will want to check out the GameStop-exclusive Rook's Coffer Collector's Edition. Rook's Coffer is loaded with trinkets to display in your game room, and though it initially sold out, GameStop has restocked Veilguard's Collector's Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Best Buy is offering free $10 digital gift cards with all preorders for PlayStation and Xbox physical editions, including the standard edition and $90 Deluxe Edition loaded with cosmetics, and release-day delivery is still offered in select locations. If you prefer preordering from Amazon, here are the listings for both editions on each console, but Amazon isn't offering a firm delivery date at this time:

Amazon is also taking preorders for the The Art of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a hardcover art book launching November 5 for $50. A collectible Deluxe Edition of the art book is available to preorder for $90 (was $100).
Preorder Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Rook's Coffer Edition
$220
It's uncommon for a GameStop-exclusive collector's edition for a game with as much hype as The Veilguard to be available this close to launch, but as of October 28, Rook's Coffer is still available for PS5 and Xbox Series X for $220. It comes with the $90 Deluxe Edition, so you're paying $130 for the collectibles shown above. PC players can preorder the collectibles separately for $150 from BioWare Gear, so console players are effectively getting a discount. For PC players, it'll cost $230 to make your own bundle with the game and collectibles as individual purchases. Here's what you'll get with Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Rook's Coffer Edition:
- 22" Light-Up Lyrium Dagger - Charges with mini-USB, can be turned on/off, designed for display, not play
- Rook's Card Deck (52 Cards) - Each card features characters and places Rook encounters
- Companion Litho Print - 18 x 24 inches with art featuring allies
- Potion Flask - Decorative, don't drink from it
- Thedas Illustrated Map with Quiver Tube
- Enchanted Die - D12 die with dialogue-wheel UI, comes with drawstring storage pouch

- Deluxe Edition in-game content: Rook armor sets (x3), Rook weapon skins (x6), Companion armor sets (x7), Companion weapon skins (x7)
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Preorder Bonuses
Preordering The Veilguard at any retailer will get you the Blood Dragon cosmetic armor for warrior, mage, and rogue classes. And as mentioned, Best Buy is giving away free $10 gift cards with Dragon Age: The Veilguard preorders for PlayStation and Xbox.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Deluxe Edition
$90 | Free $10 gift card at Best Buy
