It's a "quieter" year from BioWare

BioWare is set to celebrate its Mass Effect series later this week on N7 Day (7th November), but compared to previous years, what the developer has planned for Thursday is on a smaller scale. Due to last week's launch of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, this N7 Day will be "quieter" than usual.
The studio posted to Twitter: "We hope everyone is enjoying their time in DragonAge: The Veilguard. It’s only a few days until N7Day and this year will be quieter because of launch. Be sure to check back then for a little fun, though!" It sounds like BioWare has a more community-focused offering than a big-budget trailer. The previous two N7 Days have been headlined by short Mass Effect teaser trailers, so don't expect one this year.
The good news — for Mass Effect fans at least — is that the studio is now fully focusing on the next entry in the space RPG franchise rather than creating DLC for The Veilguard. The next Mass Effect is probably still a few years away from release, but it's now all hands on deck at the developer to get it finished.
In the meantime, why not play the developer's newest release, Dragon Age: The Veilguard? We awarded the RPG an 8/10 in our PS5 review and concluded: "Its shift to crunchy action combat is an improvement over Inquisition's middle-of-the-road approach, and although the game feels a little light on meaningful player choice, the storytelling pulls no punches when it actually matters. This is a gorgeous and gripping adventure, backed by a cast of endearing heroes and deliciously devious villains." Read more in our Dragon Age: The Veilguard PS5 review.
