The release date will be announced sometime next year.”

Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn, who plays Heartman in the Death Stranding games, came on stage to declare his love for Kojima – and noted the pair often talk about politics, philosophy, family, and love.

Elsewhere, clothing brand Acronym announced a line of real-life jackets, which will also appear in the game. These have a pretty neat feature, allowing you to strap the clothing over your shoulder when you’re too warm to wear it. No more tying the coat around your waist.
