Cash Rewards Still Unavailable for Millions in PS5, PS4 Rewards Scheme PS Stars

Update (26th October, 2024): It’s been several days since cash rewards first started disappearing from the PS Stars app for millions around the world, and the issue still hasn’t been fixed. As of the time of writing, in the UK, we still can’t exchange our points for PSN credit, and many remain in the same situation. We’ll contact Sony for comment.

Update (24th October, 2024): Many are still unable to exchange their PS Stars points for cash rewards, although not everyone is affected. It’s likely this is a repercussion of new policies Sony is rolling out for the rewards scheme today, which will see any points earned from now onwards expire after 12 months as opposed to the previous 24 months. From 1st March, you’ll no longer be able to earn points from subscription purchases like PS Plus either.
