Most Mario players know that the enemy called Boo is a bit mischievous. Face one head-on and the ghost will freeze with fright. However, if you turn your back it will callously hunt you down. Now, this new Nintendo Switch controller somehow captures both the bashful and the more devious sides of the character with a clever glow in the dark design.

The Boo wireless Nintendo Switch controller is made by PDP, the company also responsible for the cute REALMZ controllers that house little figurines inside (the Pikmin one is especially adorable). In a lit environment, it looks like a regular old controller that features art of a shy, blushing Boo on it. However, turn off the lights and you’ll see a glow in the dark pattern that shows the character confidently bearing its fangs — nyahaha!

The controller costs $54.99 and can be purchased from PDP’s website and Amazon. If you’re really into the look, PDP and Amazon offer a case with the same pattern. So, whether you prefer the case or controller, either could put a ghostly twist on your Nintendo Switch setup just in time for Halloween. And even if Boo isn’t your favorite character on a controller — we’ve got you covered. Polygon has rounded up great deals on loads of discounted gaming and entertainment products that are part of October Prime Day.
