There are a lot of weapons you can roll in SPIKED, but not all of them are made equal. Some are drastically better than others when compared in a vacuum. While your role and height can influence the quality of a weapon, here’s a universal best SPIKED weapons tier list.
Complete SPIKED Weapons Tier List
I’ll be ranking SPIKED weapons from S-Tier to D-Tier based on how powerful and flexible they are overall for all positions. S an A Tiers will consist of weapons that universally grant you a huge advantage over the other team. The lower Tiers will be weapons that provide useful buffs you should usually reroll because they’re not as powerful. Note that your height and weapon pairing can heavily influence the effectiveness of a weapon but I’ll be looking at each one in isolation. Here’s a quick overview with reasons below:
S-Tier | Full Approach, Boom Jump, Conductor, Immovable |
A-Tier | Powerful, Block Breaker, Soft Touch, Quick Step, Iron Wall |
B-Tier | Guardian, Perfect Toss, Minus Tempo, Ricochet |
C-Tier | Hybrid Serve, Float, Safe Guard, Jump |
D-Tier | Power, Speed, Aerial, Receive |
S Tier SPIKED Weapons
Each of these S-Tier weapons is a must-have tool for roles such as spiker, blocker, and setter, so never reroll these:
- Full Approach: Having the ability to reach over the net and spike that ball less than a second faster than your opponent is huge. Arguably it’s much better than Powerful since you have more flexibility of where to spike. It’s one of the best spiking weapons in the game.
- Boom Jump: Boom Jump is here for the same reason as Full Approach. Jumping is the most powerful ability in SPIKED and Boom Jump’s fast charged-jump gives you slightly less than a second of air advantage over your blocker, which is plenty. Combine the two together, and you’re a deadly force in the air.
- Conductor: This is the best setter weapon in the game essentially giving the Powerful weapon for free to each teammate that spikes the ball you set.
- Immovable: Counters any spiker weapon in the game, including Block Breaker, making it the best blocking weapon in the game. Just make sure you can reach the net at the same time as your opponent spiker by being either over 6.4 or having Full Approach/Boom Jump. Also, keep track of that 100-second cooldown since it’s the longest one in the game.
A Tier SPIKED Weapons
The A-Tier is full of universally useful options for all positions that are just slightly less powerful than S-Tier but are still something you generally don’t want to reroll:
- Powerful: Once you get the full charge hit timing down, Powerful becomes a great and flexible weapon for almost any position.
- Block Breaker: I greatly prefer Block Breaker over Ricochet since it drastically increases your spiking options as you can spike both the blocker’s hands and other scoring angles. Just make sure you opponent either doesn’t have Immovable or play around its 100-second cooldown.
- Soft Touch: This is a great blocker weapon and while it doesn’t block Block Breaker like Immovable does, it does make it easier for your team to retaliate. Plus, Soft Touch has a 30-second shorter cooldown than Immovable.
- Quick Step: Another universally useful weapon for all positions that gives you a spam able speed boost with a low cooldown. Allows you to pull off some crazy spikes but also reposition as a setter or catch the ball as a libero.
- Iron Wall: Iron Wall is usually your back-up blocker weapon with Soft Touch or Immovable and it’s simply a secondary must-have as a blocker.
B Tier SPIKED Weapons
B-Tier is all about generally great weapons that have more specific uses. In those cases, these weapons are great but the A and S-Tier ones are just more flexible:
- Guardian: This is the best weapon for a libero and if you’re libero player, this becomes S-Tier.
- Perfect Toss: So Perfect Toss is just an all-around beginner-friendly and useful setter weapon that I definitely wouldn’t mind keeping if you’re starting out as a Setter. That said, once you learn the game for a bit, reroll for Conductor.
- Minus Tempo: This is a decent weapon but the only reason Minus Tempo is in B-Tier is because it pales in comparison to Conductor. That and it can be tough for randoms to catch those sets.
- Ricochet: This weapon is in a weird spot because if your opponents know how to block, this is a decent weapon. Otherwise, you won’t see much use out of Ricochet against beginners. Still, against experienced players Ricochet is not bad at all.
C Tier SPIKED Weapons
C-Tier is filled with interesting options that while not as powerful as higher tiers, can be great against less experienced players:
- Hybrid Serve: I just haven’t gotten much use out of Hybrid Serve against more experienced players who know how to deal with floats even if it’s a jump serve animation. That said, if you’re playing against beginners, Hybrid Serve dominates new players.
- Float: This serving weapon doesn’t see much use against players with some SPIKED experience and it has a lot of the same problems as Hybrid Serve.
- Safe Guard: A decent buff to bumps, but there are much better options to buff.
- Jump: While the D-Tier is full of lesser passive weapons, Jump is actually powerful enough to be in the higher C-Tier because jumping buffs are just that good. If I had Full Approach or Boom Jump and a 5% Jump weapon with no Yen to reroll, I would be happy until I got some extra Yen.
D Tier SPIKED Weapons
Lastly, we have the passive weapons that you should generally just reroll:
- Power: Out of all the passive weapons, Power buffs are generally the most useful.
- Speed: Speed is good for any position, that said, you want to reroll these either way ASAP.
- Aerial: At least it’s a double buff to both the hitting and blocking hitbox.
- Receive: Nothing special.
