When it comes to packs in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, there are too many choices.
In recent years, the types and quantity of packs have only increased. During promos, there are promo-specific packs as well, which have better odds of getting pack items. That said, not every pack is equal, and I prefer to earn my packs (by grinding weekly/seasonal content rather than spend coins/FC Points.
Let’s take a look at the best packs that you can earn and open in Ultimate Team.
Disclaimer: Doesn’t include store packs that can only be bought with real money/coins.
EA FC 25 Ultimate Team best packs
The packs are judged based on certain parameters – the total number of items, the possible rarity of those items, and their in-game value. Some packs, while having lesser value, can actually be more rewarding. This might be due to how many times you can earn these packs.
Daily Preview Pack | 2,200 coins | While the average value is low, you’ll only need to spend 7,500 coins to open this. But before you open, you can check out the content and what the pack has in store for you. No other pack, barring the Silver preview pack, offers this unique opportunity. |
Energizer Pack | 3,000 coins | The Energizer packs aren’t available at all times in the store, and EA Sports usually releases it during promos. While the pack contains three Rare Gold Players, it only costs 10 coins (yes, just 10 coins). Sure, the odds aren’t much in your favor, but 10 coins is nothing. |
Rare Players Pack | 23000 coins | This pack, which costs 50,000 coins to open, includes 12 Gold Rare Players. At the start of the year, you can open it twice for free from the Moments. Throughout the year, you’ll keep earning the Rare Players Pack for free as well. |
Jumbo Rare Players Pack | 45000 coins | Pretty much the same as Rare Players pack, but you get 24 Rare Gold Players from the pack. |
Mega Pack | 16200 coins | This pack offers 30 different items in EA FC 25. 18 out of those items are rare, but the pack also includes consumables, along with player items. |
Rare Mega Pack | 18200 coins | This pack also offers 30 different items, which range between players and consumables, but all the items are Rare Gold in nature. |
Ultimate Pack | 50000 coins | This special pack includes 30 Rare Gold Player items, and has huge chances of landing a promo card/walkout. |
Rare Electrum Players Pack | 16,900 coins | For what it costs, the Rare Electrum Players Pack offers decent value with 12 Rare player items (6 Gold 6 Silver). |
Jumbo Ultimate Pack | 74000 coins | This massive pack contains 40 Rare Gold Players. |
Any 82+ packs | NA | Over the course of seasons, you’ll get different packs that guarantee cards rated 82 or more. These packs are always incredible to get as they’re earned by playing the game. The higher the overall, the better it gets. |
It’s worth noting that some of these packs have yet to be launched in EA FC 25 (but they will arrive and have already been coded into the game). A few of these packs are also routinely available in the store, and you can buy them with your coins. However, it’s best to save your Ultimate Team coins for cards from the market and open packs you get as rewards.
