Annapurna Interactive Showcase Will Reveal What's Next Following Mass Staff Walkout

Publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced the Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025, a video broadcast set to take place in a few days.

It's scheduled to go live on 24th February at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT.

The publisher has mentioned updates for several upcoming games during the presentation. These include Wanderstop, Wheel World, Morsels, and others.

On top of games that have already been announced, there will be "a few more surprises" to enjoy.

To a T, the next game from the creator of Katamari Damacy and Wattam, looks poised for a PS5/PS4 announcement, while a PS5 version of Sayonara Wild Hearts has yet to be confirmed despite a Trophy list emerging online. Both seem like they could be confirmed during this showcase.

This will be the first big public presentation from Annapurna Interactive since most of its staff exited the company back in September of last year. This was due to a failed plan of the Interactive branch to spin off into a separate company, and subsequently, nearly the entire staff resigned.

Annapurna Interactive remains, however, and has plenty of games in production at various indie studios. We'll get a fresh look at the publisher's slate in this showcase next week.
