In Anime Adventures, simply having the best units isn’t enough. While you can have an ultimate team of anime Units, they won’t be very effective without the right Traits. Just like with pulling Units, pulling Traits is another gacha, so be prepared for many disappointments before you pull the rarest ones.
To help you out, we made a tier list of the best and most sought-after Traits in Anime Defenders.
S-Tier
As much as we want to say these are desirable, we’ve also seen pre-made groups that REQUIRE you to have some of these traits (especially the 0.1% one).
Name | Info | Chance |
Unique | You can only have one Unit in your team with this trait. Gives a 300% Damage boost, a 10% SPA reduction, and a 10% Range boost. Many premade groups demand you have a Unique Unit before you can join them. | 0.1% |
Golden | Gives a 30% Damage boost and 20% more Yen. Great for farming Units and okay for everyone else. | 0.15% |
Divine | 20% Damage boost, 10% SPA reduction, 20% Range boost. Pretty good to have on your DPS Units. | 0.2% |
Celestial | 10% Damage boost, 10% Range boost, and another 20% Damage buff as True Damage. | 0.36% |
Reaper | 10% Damage boost, 25% more Damage to bosses. It’s good to have one Unit in your team with this Trait. | 0.8% |
A-Tier
Great traits, useful in almost any situation.
Name | Info | Chance |
Godspeed | Makes your Unit attack more often with a 20% SPA reduction. | 1% |
Sniper | 25% Range boost, great for units with a smaller circle. | 2.5% |
Nimble III | Just like Godspeed but with only a 12% SPA reduction. | 3.5% |
Range III | Just like Sniper but with only a 15% Range boost. | 3.5% |
Superior | 15% more damage. Great until you get one of the S-tier traits. | 4.5% |
Culling | 20% more damage to enemies who are below 30% health. Very situational. | 5% |
B-Tier
These are great while you’re leveling up and building your team but should be replaced with A or S tier ASAP.

Range II | 12.5% Range boost. Decent when leveling up. | 8.74% |
