Alarmo Alarm Clock Staying a Nintendo Switch Online Member Exclusive for Longer

21 hours ago 37

Nintendo issued an update on sales of the Alarmo alarm clock, and it means it will be limited to Nintendo Switch Online members for a bit longer. The company issued an update on social media saying that it will now only be sold to people with a subscription until sometime in March 2025. There’s no exact date for when it will open up to everyone.

How it works is Alarmo general sales were supposed to open sometime in January 2025. When that happened, it would also make a more general retail debut. However, Nintendo now noted that it will be sold exclusively through its official storefronts for a while longer. This will last until “early March.” There’s no exact new date for the wider release.

Here’s the official announcement regarding Alarmo sales.

This isn’t the only time this has happened. Back in December 2024, it announced that sales ended up being temporarily postponed

At the moment, you need to go through Nintendo directly to get an Alarmo, with the alarm clock being sold for $99.99. You need to be logged in with your account that also has an active Nintendo Switch Online membership tied to it in order to make the purchase.

So far, there’s been one major update for the clock so far. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe scenes and sounds debuted on December 10, 2024

Nintendo Alarmo is available for Nintendo Switch Online members, with more general sales for the alarm clock not opening up now until March 2025.
