2.6 Honkai: Star Rail Special Program Airs This Week

HoYoVerse confirmed the next Honkai: Star Rail Special Program for the 2.6 update. We’ll be able to learn about things to come at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on October 11, 2024.

The teaser image hints at some of the things we can expect from the update, aside from the continuation of the 2.0 storylines. Rappa, the next playable 5-star character, is shown in the official art. She is a Galaxy Ranger, just like Boothill, who makes her debut in the story and as a unit. Dr. Ratio might feature prominently either in the story or as a rerun banner, as he showed up as well. Finally, Herta will appear.

The art also brought up Penacony again. While the 2.0 update started in this new world, more recent patches’ stories brought us back to the Xianzhou Alliance. We visited the Xianzhou Luofu for the Wardance festivities. That also meant the introduction of characters like Lingsha, Moze, and Feixiao. Looking forward, we still don’t know when the 3.0 update and presumably new world will debut for the game.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program for 2.6 airs at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on October 11, 2024.
