She runs through an open world, dodging obstacles and gathering collectibles that will help her in her quest. Hat Kid courses through four open levels in addition to 2 extra levels via downloadable content. Her primary goal is to recover lost Time Pieces that unlock additional levels in the game. 

9. The Plucky Squire

The protagonists, Jot, Violet, Thrash, and Pip, journey through The Plucky Squire storybook on a quest to defeat an evil sorcerer. However, the sorcerer uncovers their scheme through a book in which they are all cast. He decides to change the narrative, so he traps the protagonists in a 3D world. The sorcerer, Humgrumps, sends out his minions to destroy them and keep them from getting to him. The protagonists, therefore, journey between the two worlds, fighting off enemies, solving puzzles, and collecting items crucial to their quest. 

8. Bugsnax

Bugsnax counts as one of the interesting kids' games on PlayStation Plus. The game plays out on a mysterious island called Snaktooth Island. On this island live little creatures called Bugsnax that are half bug and half snack. Players course through the lands using different techniques to capture the Bugsnax. You use a tool called SnaxScope, which scans the Bugsnax and displays its movement patterns, tastes, and clues on how to capture it. Additionally, you receive other tools that will assist you in capturing these creatures, including a slingshot, a tripwire, and a strabby named Sprout. 

7. LEGO Jurassic World

LEGO Jurassic World takes players on a thrilling journey through the stories of the first four Jurassic World movies. Each story has different sections containing different levels, casting humans and dinosaurs as playable characters. The two characters each come with a different set of abilities that they employ in their mission. Mr. DNA, a non-playable character in the game, provides useful information and educational facts that guide players in the gameplay. Also, the Paleo-DNA strains in the titles are combined to create hybrids with different colors and features.

One of the exciting kids' games on PlayStation Plus is Untitled Goose Game. In a quiet English village, an annoying duck exists, a menace to the villagers. After completing four areas, the goose enters a miniature model of the village, where he steals a golden bell while the villagers try to stop it.

Carto is an engaging puzzle adventure game where you take on the role of a young girl named Carto. She and her grandmother, who works as a cartographer, get separated following a violent storm. Carto ends up on the shore of an island, and she now has to find a way to locate her grandmother. You go through several areas, discovering and assembling different pieces of a map. The map displays the outlay of the island and the progression of the protagonist. Also, moving pieces of the map lets you assist NPCs featured in the game with certain tasks.

4. Tearaway Unfolded

The title is a platform-adventure game set in an amazing world made solely out of paper. It features a protagonist named Iota, or Atoi, a messenger. Atoi’s main goal is to deliver a letter to You, which is a portal existing in the sky that has suddenly opened up. He navigates this world, confronting Scraps and other dangerous creatures, completing mini-quests, and gathering collectibles. As the messenger, you are responsible for crafting objects used in the game to solve problems. You also receive tools as you progress in the gameplay that help you in completing your mission.

Players embody a young girl named Tove who is in search of her brother Lars in this adventure title. As Tove, you possess a journal that contains a catalogue of collectable items scattered in the game’s environment for you to collect. Additionally, the journal features a map of areas you can visit along with information on other characters featured in the game. On her journey, she crosses paths with ancient creatures and cracks puzzles allowing her to progress further into the game. 

2. It Takes Two

May and Cody are a married couple who wish to divorce and are also the protagonists in It Takes Two. Their daughter starts crying after she learns about their divorce, and this turns the two protagonists into dolls. The couple has to find a way to revert to themselves while simultaneously mending their relationship. It takes two features, a total of nine chapters, each having different settings, and players master different abilities. The game also features different challenges, such as rampaging vacuum cleaners for the player to complete.

Temtem is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game whose gameplay is inspired by Game Freak's Pokémon series. In the game, you take on the role of a novice Temtem tame. Your journey begins on the six floating islands of the Airborne Archipelago, where a dark organization called Clan Belsoto attempts to take over the island brutally. As the protagonist, you travel through the island, capturing creatures known as Temtem. Your goal is to drive them into battle against other Temtems being controlled by other players or NPCs.
